Hawaiian Kids Party

Entertaining the kids is easy when you transport them to a tropical paradise. After our first family trip to Hawaii, we were inspired to make that the theme for our daughter’s 7th birthday.

Our stage was set for a luau and limbo dance party, when a thunderstorm forced us indoors. We quickly switched gears, at Julia’s suggestion and turned it into a rain forest party instead.

Luckily, I had backup arts and crafts supplies on hand. Eventually, the storm clouds lifted and the sun came out, just as the party was ending. The kids still had a blast! Here are some tips to plan your Hawaiian birthday party. Remember, always have a plan B!
