Zabelicious Life is opening a new space for a wellness category to do exactly that-a place to slow down, get curious, and rediscover what it means to feel strong, energized and fully alive.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness, resilience, and finding what truly works for you.

Defining Wellness 

Wellness is a modern word with ancient roots that has evolved into big business on a global scale. For me, defining wellness is personal. Together, we will untangle the multidimensional aspects of wellness. 

Why Wellness?

I felt called to create a wellness space here, because of my personal health journey over the past nine years. I received an unexpected diagnosis of osteoarthritis at age 50, that resulted in double hip replacement surgery. 

Initially I was misdiagnosed, prescribed incorrect therapy, which made the pain worse, and prolonged my suffering. Eventually, after advocating for myself, with the right team of professionals, I was able to get a proper diagnosis, treatment and recovery plan. 

Now as a bionic woman of 59, I’m stronger than ever and growing bolder. 

I’m so grateful to be back at full strength, able to do intense hikes with family again, enjoying life to the fullest.  A few years ago, I would have never been able to manage this stunning 7 mile hike in Santorini. What a shame it would have been to miss the panoramic views of the Aegean Sea from atop the Caldera cliffs.

The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to prioritize your health and wellbeing, and be your own advocate. There’s so much misinformation out there, I felt the need to share what I’ve learned during my pursuit of wellness.

Meet Dr. K

Dr. Cheryl Koelling is a practitioner specializing in women’s health, hormones, and metabolism. She is the founder of Kee Health and Strong & Steady Her and is dedicated to helping women build strength, resilience, and long-term wellness through an integrated approach to care.

The topic Dr. K tackles for us first, is one of the most overlooked aspects of women’s health-our bones.
